Another one gone past…

Howdy!

Well another IM under the belt I didn’t have the day I was hoping for but nothing toooooo bad either. 8th place professional in 10:09.

Unfortunately I don’t have any fun stroies to really report about the day. Nothing crazy happened. I finally swam with a few other girls the entire way in a seperate start. I’m use to being completely solo when it’s the seperate starts, but I finally got my ass going enough to have a few to swim with.

I had a good ride, fastest of the day for the ladies. The only excitment of the day on the ride was being stung by a wasp and hoping I wouldn’t crash when my bike got the wabbles zooming down the decnt at 73km/hr in a pretty good wind.

Soon as I hit the run I was greeted with the good news that Chris won Kentucky and I think I got so excitted I must have told every person I saw out there. I smiled the entire way. I felt great and was grooving along at the pace I hopped to run for the entire way easily. No stress, could chat and felt great. My good freinds were all out there cheering me on and I was enjoying the day and pacing patiently. Then the last 12km I REALLY slowed!! Yeesh! It went from easy to so freaken hard I was barely jogging. I went from chasing down 5th place and racing in 6th to 8th place by the finish…Yikes! Gotta get that last bit of my marathong sorted Next one

Hope all your weekends went well and you learned a little more about yourself each day. I know each time I do one of these things I learn a little more about me.
